Ryan’s Recognition and Awards

Ryan received the “Excellence in Sports Coverage” service award at West Orange High School (NJ) for excellence in sports coverage, having covered over 150 West Orange events and being well-known throughout the school.

In April, 2025, Ryan won the “LINDA MARTELLI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP IN JOURNALISM”

Ryan was nominated a designated dean’s list nominee at the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications in the Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 academic semesters.

Ryan has been nominated twice for the “best anchor” award at Penn State Network Television for his works at At the Desk and PSN News.

Ryan also received a scholarship from Livingston High School (NJ) for his three years of coverage of the school’s football, soccer, baseball, and hockey programs.
